Welcome to Durchklang, the experimental electronic duo of sound artist Dragica Kahlina and composer and bassist Kathryn Criston. In their 30-minute live performance ""World Vs. The Princess", they create a world of fretless electric bass, human voice and electronics. The soundscape invites you to explore. Sounds become data and return to the room transformed. A voice reappears unexpectedly somewhere else. A new path is opened by a rhythm, a tiny noise grows into an entire world. At times the music is immediate and familiar, at others strange, playful or surprising. "World Vs. The Princess" is an open world that takes you on a listening journey, 30 minutes of discovery, unexpected turns and the pleasure of not knowing what waits around the next corner.
